Paul M. Parker, M.D. is Medical Director of The Parker Center for Plastic Surgery in Paramus, NJ, just across the river from New York City. His 15,000 square foot building houses a surgical facility, laser center and the BeauraMedSpa for non-surgical treatments. Specializing in aesthetic procedures for face, breast and body, he is a strong believer in patient education.
Dr. Parker has long recognized the value of photography in a clinical environment, and his staff includes a full time digital imaging specialist. His adoption of VECTRA 3D, therefore, was a natural evolution. "I had been using Mirror software since early 90's, for before and after and for imaging. But after a while the limitations of a two dimensional system became apparent. What really caught my attention was when I learned about VECTRA's ability to show mastopexy results."
After installing VECTRA, he soon found it indispensable for much more. "VECTRA has greatly enhanced our patient consultations and is now a part of virtually all of our consultations. It's been great across the board. Mastopexy continues to be a real plus, but it's been invaluable for other procedures such as rhinoplasty, brows and eyes, face lift, body contouring, even laser resurfacing."
And Dr. Parker has found that his patients appreciate VECTRA 3D consultations as much as he does. "I've found that it reduces patient anxiety before surgery because they now have a road map to help them understand where they are headed. Dr. Parker is a board certified plastic surgeon who has been in practice for over 25 years. He completed his undergraduate education at Union College in Schenectady, New York, and received his medical degree from George Washington University of Medicine in Washington, DC. He then completed residencies in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at New York University Medical Center where he also completed a fellowship in Microsurgery at their Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.
