Early on, Dr. Michael Bogdan developed a keen appreciation for what it takes to fulfill patient expectations. While working with the renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Jack Gunter, he encountered the VECTRA 3D system, and was impressed with its ability to create highly realistic visualizations of plastic surgery outcomes. Today, Dr. Bogdan has two offices in the Dallas area and a VECTRA XT in each of them. "Consultations are a lot simpler with VECTRA. You don't have to spend a lot of time looking through photo galleries with patients trying to find someone who looks similar to them...with the result that they want to achieve. VECTRA allows you to show the patients what can be achieved with their own body. The patients love it and they are much more secure about going ahead with the surgery."
Dr. Bogdan has also discovered the value of Canfield's ViewMyConsult patient portal, which allows him to upload VECTRA consultations to a secure website where his patients can view them at home. "Patients don't always show up at the consultation with their partners. They may want to bounce ideas off of their significant other to get feedback, and being able to follow up the consult by viewing the images at home really does help."
Dr. Bogdan is an aesthetic plastic surgeon in private practice in Dallas, Texas. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland and received his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine.
