“I saw VECTRA at the ASPS meeting when it first came out, and immediately realized the implications. This was going to change, even revolutionize, the consultation process, improving patient communications and assuring that we’re on the same page in terms of what they want and what we can do. Today, I don’t know how you could do a consultation without it.
Dr. Gary Breslow places a high value on doctor-patient communications, productive consultations and the importance of mutually agreed upon goals for cosmetic procedures. And for these he finds VECTRA 3D aesthetic simulations the ideal communication tool. “I don’t see how it’s possible to even discuss rhinoplasty without it” he explains. “And it’s equally useful for breast, body, even facial rejuvenation. It has definitely improved the value of my practice in terms of who we are and what we can do.”
It is this commitment to effective consultations that led Dr. Breslow to become a co-founder, and CEO, of the online consultation website Zwivel. This innovative web destination enables patients seeking cosmetic procedures to find and communicate with practices that meet their needs. For both the patient and practitioner, it helps assure a productive and satisfying relationship from the very start.
“VECTRA and Zwivel are in some ways similar. They are both powerful communication tools serving different parts of the same process” Dr. Breslow observes. “When I respond to patients on Zwivel, I tell them that when they come to the office we’re going to do 3D imaging and explore the possibilities with them. I think that combination can draw them into the practice and increase the chance that they will have the procedure. There is a lot of synergy there.”
