Even as young boy, Farid Kazem knew he wanted to be a doctor, as was his father. One day he found himself alone with his father's medical instruments, and a stuffed toy elephant became his first patient. He has learned a lot since then, and is careful never to leave his children alone with his own instruments. He has also developed a reputation as a skilled cosmetic plastic surgeon and for his expertise in both surgical and non-surgical procedures.
An early adopter of digital photography, Dr. Kazem selected Mirror medical imaging software to manage his clinical images. When Canfield launched VECTRA 3D, he quickly saw the possibilities for his plastic surgery practice. "Instead of showing patients before and after pictures of other people, this gave me the opportunity to show them how they would actually look. This gave them confidence to go ahead with the procedures, so my conversion rate increased."

Farid Kazem, M.D. is a plastic surgeon with a private practice in Leimuiden, Netherlands. He studied general surgery and burn trauma surgery at the Zuiderziekenhuis in Rotterdam and received his medical degree from Leiden University. He specializes in surgical and non-invasive procedures of the face, breast, body and skin.
